The World Is Celebrating The Return Of The Memphis Sound! Astoundingly, A DREAM FOR PEACE medley of "If I Can Dream" and "Classical Dream" is for real the American Sound Studio Band accompanying singer John Krondes. The American Sound Studio Band was the studio band from Memphis, Tennessee that recorded "Suspicious Minds" with Elvis Presley and other hits. The American Sound Studio Band ("The Memphis Boys") were the hottest studio band in the USA between 1969-1973 with 125 Charted hits including also "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond, "Hooked On A Feeling" by BJ Thomas and many more. Also joining John Krondes are all of Elvis Presley's vocal groups on this track; The Jordanaires, Stamps, Imperials, Sweet Inspirations, Millie Kirkham, and Elvis Horns.
"If I Can Dream" is the song that Elvis Presley sang in the '68 Comeback Special for peace and is a featured song in the new movie ELVIS. Elvis Presley's 20 Year Road Manager Joe Esposito also discovered John Krondes and became the project manager for what is now known as John Krondes and the Elvis Hit Making Team until his death in 2016. Joe Esposito wanted a new recording made of "If I Can Dream" for his best friend Elvis. Due to Joe Esposito's passing, the new John Krondes Memphis Rock is now just starting to be released to the world picking up were Elvis Presley left off in 1977.
